Lord God,

I come to You with a wounded heart.

The pain was great. The loss was profound.

And I didn't know how to cope with it all.

In the midst of grief, I rebelled against You.

I questioned Your ways and Your existence.

I questioned Your love.

I let the pain speak louder than faith.

Forgive me, Lord.

Not for feeling pain,

but for having turned away from You

precisely when I needed You most.

You know my suffering.

You saw my tears.

Nothing I felt surprised You.

Today I choose to return.

Even hurt.

Even without all the answers.

I surrender my anger to You.

I surrender my sadness to You.

I surrender my broken heart to You.

Teach me to trust in You again.

Sustain me in difficult days.

Receive me with Your grace.

I repent, Lord.

And I place myself in Your hands.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Lord God,

I acknowledge my error before You.

I held grudges in my heart.

I nurtured resentment.

I allowed pain to become a burden.

There were deep wounds.

Words that hurt.

Situations I didn't know how to handle.

Instead of offering forgiveness,

I hardened my heart.

I turned away from Your will.

Forgive me, Lord.

For resisting forgiveness.

For allowing pain to govern my actions.

Today I choose to let go of what binds me.

I choose to release those who have hurt me.

Even if it still hurts.

Heal my heart.

Restore my emotions.

Teach me to forgive as the Lord forgives me.

May Your love overcome bitterness.

May Your grace overcome resentment.

May Your peace dwell within me.

I repent, Lord.

And I place my heart before You.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Lord God,

Today I acknowledge my ingratitude.

I have received many blessings in this life,
but I focused only on what was missing.
It was Your love, yet I complained.

I ignored small miracles and deliverances.
I forgot to thank You.
I allowed my heart to close.

Instead of praising, I questioned.
Instead of trusting, I doubted.

Forgive me, Lord.
For not recognizing Your goodness.
For not valuing what You have already done for me.

Open my eyes.
Teach me to see with gratitude.
Restore a thankful heart within me.

May I learn to praise,
even on difficult days.
May I learn to trust,
even when I do not understand everything.

Today I repent.
And I choose to give thanks.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Lord God,

I place myself before You with humility.

I acknowledge my failures.
My actions.
My words.

Many times, love was lacking.
Care was lacking. Compassion was lacking.

Hurting others was not my intention,
but it happened.
I caused pain and harm to people who only wanted my good.

Forgive me, Lord.
For not acting with love.
For allowing pride, selfishness, and hardness of heart to speak louder.

May Your love transform me.
Teach me to treat others with grace.
May I become more patient, more sensitive, more human.

Heal the hearts I have wounded.
Heal mine as well.
Teach me to make amends when possible. Teach me to ask forgiveness from those I have hurt.

Today, I repent.
And I choose to love better.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Lord God,

Today I acknowledge what was in my heart.

I compared my life to others’.
I desired what was not mine.
I allowed envy to grow in silence and poison me.

Instead of being grateful, I compared myself.
Instead of trusting, I felt less than.

Forgive me, Lord.
For not resting in the purpose You have given me.
For looking outward and forgetting what I have already received.

Teach me to value my own journey.
To recognize my limits and my gifts.
To trust in Your timing for my life.

Remove from my heart
all envy,
all comparison,
all dissatisfaction.

Plant in me contentment,
gratitude,
and trust in You.

Today I repent.
And I choose to rest in what the Lord has for me.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
