Prayer for Peace in Jesus

Dear Father God,

I come to You seeking peace.

My heart is weary.

My mind is restless.

Thoughts don't cease.

There is anxiety within me.

There is fear I cannot explain.

There are nights when sleep doesn't come.

You know every affliction.

You see every silent tear.

Nothing is hidden from You.

Today, I declare:

I need the peace that the Lord Jesus gives.

Not the peace of the world,

but the peace that comes from Your heart.

I surrender my worries to You.

I surrender my emotional pain to You.

I surrender everything that steals my peace to You.

Calm my mind, Lord.

Silence the agitated thoughts.

Bring rest to my soul.

May the peace of Jesus surround me.

May it guard my heart.

May it guard my mind.

Even without immediate answers,

I choose to trust.

I choose to rest in You.

Guard my sleep.

Renew my strength.

Sustain my heart.

I now receive the peace that comes from Jesus.

The peace that comforts.

The peace that heals from within.

In You, I rest.

In You, I trust.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
